It was October 4th and the weather was rainy and cloudy. The Renaissance hotel was the perfect location for Jackie and Anthony to get dressed before their ceremony. You might remember these guys from their sunrise engagement session last November. Almost a year later, the day that they had waited so long for was finally here. Their Garden on Millbrook wedding was finally here!
Jackie and Anthony are two of the sweetest people we know. They love each other beyond words and we are so blessed to have been a part of their special day! When we arrived at the Renaissance North Hills hotel, the bride was busy having her makeup done by Me-Me. The groom was busy getting dressed with the groomsmen. Jackie wore the cutest silver heels and silver jewelry. She also wore a gorgeous mermaid style Maggi Bridal gown. I love how Jackie waited until she was in her dress to do a dress reveal with her bridesmaids and matron of honor! Such a sweet moment with the ladies. The ceremony took place at Saint Matthews Missionary Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. The church created a very cozy space for their ceremony. We caught a small break in the rain once at The Garden on Millbrook and rushed outside for a few photos with the newlyweds. Inside the ballroom, Joye Speight and her team decorated the space with beautiful pink and purple linens. Candle centerpieces lined each table. Everyone enjoyed dinner, cake and dancing throughout the rest of the evening.
