As I was picking out some of my favorite memories from our trip to Aruba last year, I realized why I’ve reached a plateau with my weight loss! A lot of favorite memories include food! Ha!
The moment our plane took off from Aruba last summer, Brian and I started counting down the days until our next visit to Aruba! We loved everything about this beautiful island. The locals were so friendly. The food was awesome! The ocean was so clear. We had the best time on the island of Aruba!
We spent the past year planning our return. Even when Covid-19 first hit the US, we crossed our fingers and prayed that things would clear before our trip in June. Once May rolled around, we figured that our trip wouldn’t happen. We decided to postpone our trip to a later date.
So today we’re flashing back to our time in Aruba.
Our first meal in Aruba was pizza at Casa Tua. It was soooo good!
One of many selfies that we took while in Aruba.
We fell in love with a lunch spot in Oranjestead. I just love sitting on the deck listening to the ocean while enjoying chicken wings and seafood chowder.
Delicious seafood chowder at West Deck.
The shrimp at Madame Janette’s was amazing.
The view from our hotel room never gets old!
Riding UTVs through Arikok National Park.
The most beautiful water I’ve ever seen.
You can’t visit Aruba without taking a photo in front of the Aruba sign.
A delicious smoothie with passion fruit, strawberries and bananas.
We got to hang out with the flamingos at Flamingo Beach.
Snorkeling for the first time.
We had way too much fun on the UTV tour.
Taking photos with Demian Gibbs Photography was beyond amazing. It’s always fun being on the other side of the camera.
We can’t wait to visit the island again. Until next time, Aruba!
