This session has been in the making for months! Last fall, we made plans to visit Carolina Beach with the Beasley family, but then Hurricane Florence happened! Interstate 40 was underwater for days and we were unable to travel to the beach! Months later and we were finally able to hang out with these guys at the beach! I really don’t need an excuse to visit the beach, but when Candice mentioned that she wanted photos on the beach, it gave me the perfect reason to plan a day trip!

This was my first time photographing family portraits at Kure Beach and it has been years since we were there for a wedding! Visiting Carolina and Kure Beach reminds me of the countless trips that I took with my parents to Atlantic Beach as a child! My Dad has always loved driving down to Atlantic Beach and I enjoyed all of those road trips too! I’m starting to understand where my love of travel comes from!

I think it’s safe to say that the Beasleys love adventure and traveling too! I believe that it’s important for families to spend time adventuring together! I’m a huge believer in creating memories with the ones you love! Things are great, but memories are even sweeter! The weather was perfect for a late April day! Sunset on Kure Beach was amazing for portraits! I love the outfits that Candice chose for the family! Everyone looked amazing as always!
