Shawna and Chris are engaged and we couldn’t be more excited for these two! From our first meeting, it felt like we’ve known these guys forever! During our first meeting, we talked about how Chris and Shawna met on Facebook! They were friends for a while before they ever decided to go on a date! We talked about how Chris proposed to Shawna in the cold during Christmas! He had this amazing plan that Shawna knew nothing about! So sweet! We seriously talked about everything including their love of different types of music and how they’re so excited to make things really official in November!

Before all of the local shutdowns due to the Coronavirus, Brian and I spent a Saturday evening adventuring through downtown with these two! We visited Brightleaf Square, Kingfisher Bar, Beyu Cafe, Alley 26 and lots of other unique spots! It’s amazing that there are so many amazing spots for portraits in downtown Durham. This was my first time visiting all of these locations in all of my years visiting Durham!

Shawna and Chris looked amazing! I love that they chose a “preppy” look followed by a formal and clean look! You can totally feel the happiness and love when you are around these guys! From Shawna’s laughter to Chris whispering into her ear! We are so excited for these guys and can’t wait to celebrate with them this fall!
