When one of our friends told us about the upcoming meetup in Durham, NC, I was beyond nervous and scared! I’m one of those people who love meeting new people, but I’m super shy! I wouldn’t call myself a complete introvert, but sometimes I can be! So when Monday rolled around, I told myself not to chicken out and actually go! And boy, am I glad that I did! I even convinced Brian to tag along with me! I am looking forward to shooting some actual Durham engagement photography.

I got to meet and work beside so many new faces! Everyone met up at Geer Street Garden in Durham for dinner! This was my first time at Geer Street Garden and it was very good! They have the cutest little patio area with beautiful market lights! Total love!

After dinner and chatting, everyone headed outside to learn from the amazing Mark Potter of Mark Potter Photography! He’s a super nice guy and shared great posing tips and techniques with us! It was so great to see fellow photographers in action!

See him in action! Our models for the evening were the beautiful Priscilla with Orangerie Events and her handsome hubby! Priscilla is an amazing wedding planner who we adore!!
