We’re so excited for Devan and Alex! These two are engaged and planning their wedding for this fall! We recently got to hang out with them at Duke Gardens for their engagement session! It has been years since I’ve visited Duke Gardens but this location is absolutely gorgeous! It was the perfect location for Devan and Alex’s engagement portraits! Devan and Alex are such a sweet couple! I had so much fun adventuring around the gardens with these guys! This was only our second time meeting them but it feels like we’ve known them for years! From hearing about their proposal to learning more about their wedding day plans! Brian and I enjoyed hanging out with these two and can’t wait to celebrate with them this fall!

Tell us about your proposal!

I (Alexander) took Devan to Asheville NC, via the Biltmore Estates. And proposed on the top of the hill where we could over look the estate property. I got on one knee- froze and said “we’ll with a giant smile on my face”. Of course Devan responded with “ you still have to ask me” and so I did.
