Ebony and Hanh totally rocked their engagement photo session in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina last weekend! It was a sunny January day and these guys drove up to Raleigh from Charlotte for their engagement portraits! I am a huge fan of the city and loved that these two agreed to hanging out in downtown Raleigh with me!
We started our session outside of the Raleigh Convention Center and adventured over a couple of blocks! Ebony wore a light blue jean shirt with a stylish black skirt and black heels! Hanh wore a navy blue button down shirt with navy pants and brown shoes! They make such a cute couple!
We took a stroll across Fayetteville street!
And then stopped for this intimate moment in the middle of the street! After adventuring around outside, we headed inside the Convention Center to warm up for a few!
After a quick outfit change at our studio, we headed over to the old Dorothea Dix campus! It was about a 5 minute drive from our office and created the perfect outdoorsy backdrop for these guys! Their second outfits really popped in this location!
Here is a little insight from our soon to be bride!
How did he propose?
“We actually went to Miami for what I thought was just a trip for my birthday(June 9th) that turned into a celebration of our engagement as well. We took the trip with my sister and her boyfriend and they were in on it the entire time. I remember it was a rainy day in Miami and we had been out shopping and were winding down to find a nice place to sit and eat for dinner. After going to multiple restaurants, which I thought were extremely nice by the way, and walking out after sitting for only a few moments because they didn’t seem to have good food on the menu I was really over it. It was raining and by this time I was completely hungry. So I said this restaurant is where we are going to eat, it was named Cardozo South Beach. After eating a nice dinner my sister asks if I would share a dessert with her. She leaves the table for a few moments, and then joins us again. After about 5 minutes the waitress brings out a dessert plate that reads “Will You Marry Me”? I seriously did not even notice what the plate read until I turned to my Fiance and noticed that he was down on one knee. The entire restaurant was involved at this point, and by far that had to be the happiest day of my life.”
Such a sweet love story! We can’t wait until their wedding this summer!!! It is going to be an epic day!
