I’ll never forget standing in the rain during Casey and BJ’s wedding ceremony in the mountains! Photographing their ceremony while my assistant photographer, CJ, held an umbrella for us! Who knew that that moment would become one of my favorite wedding moments ever! I especially love the way that Casey’s sister and BJ’s brother held umbrellas for them while they exchanged their vows!

These guys decided that they wanted to recreate some of their engagement session with their son! How sweet! Years ago, we met at sunrise in downtown Raleigh for their engagement photo session! It was so early, but so worth it! However, this time everyone decided to sleep in and we met closer to sunset! Their son, Baby J, is just the sweetest! He had plenty of smiles for the camera! We adventured around downtown Raleigh to some of the spots where Casey and BJ took photos years ago! It’s amazing how many things have changed over the years! Some of the locations that we used last time have been painted or look totally different! We even created some new memories in new places while we were in downtown!
