Wow, I can’t believe I am just now adding this wedding to our blog! I had the pleasure of photographing this wedding for a fellow photographer in Durham, North Carolina! This Doubletree by Hilton hotel wedding in Durham, North Carolina was full of navy blue and silver tones!

We started the day out with the groom and bride as they prepared for the ceremony! The bride was busy in her suite getting her makeup done as the groom laughed with the guys as they got dressed! I love when the bride and groom are at the same location prior to the ceremony! It just seems to add that extra bit of suspense that they are so close together, yet they can’t see each other until it’s time!

The guest arrived and took their seats outside at the ceremony location! White folding chairs were lined up and navy blue rose balls lined the aisle! So pretty! The small pond made for a beautiful backdrop for this Durham outdoor wedding! Before long the wedding party entered and the bride stood waiting to walk down the aisle! This is always one of my favorite moments during a wedding! As the ceremony went on, I noticed it was raining across the pond, but wasn’t sure if anyone else noticed it! A minute later, the downpour started and everyone rushed inside to plan B (that was already set up, thanks to an amazing wedding planner) and the couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife!

The reception tent was filled blue uplighting, silver accents and yellow flowers! Everyone chatted, ate and danced the night away as DJ Bro Rabb played some tunes! Even the rain couldn’t stop this beautiful wedding! Thanks again for Artbyash for allowing me to photograph such a lovely wedding for you!
