We love wedding albums. We believe that you should have a wedding album to hold and look back at for years to come. With all of the technology today, it’s easy to forget the importance of printed photographs. Don’t get us wrong, we love digital photographs and think that they are amazing. But we also think that wedding albums are amazing. Here is why. When I was growing up, we had cassette tapes. Cassette tapes were cool and pretty easy to use. Just pop it into a tape player in the car or radio and hit play or rewind or fast forward. Then one day compact disc came along and they were even easier and cooler. There was no longer a string of ribbon to get tangled up or caught inside the tape player. Just pop the CD into a CD player and it would spin it and play the music for you. It was great! Then one day, we were introduced to the ability to stream music via sites like Pandora and download music from iTunes. Even easier right? Totally. I say all of that to say that technology will always change and evolve. The same way music has changed, our photo sharing capability has to0. But with each change, we sort of lost something too. If all our wedding photos were stuck on a cassette tape, it’s sad to think that all of our photos may be lost too! One thing that never gets old or goes out of style is a printed photograph. That is why we love wedding albums. No matter how many times technology has changed over the years, I still enjoy looking back through our family albums. They are nowhere near as advanced and cool as the albums we create nowadays, but I still cherish each photo in its own little plastic pocket just the same. Being able to look back at photos of my parents on their wedding day or my Mom holding me when I was a baby is just priceless. Here are a few of the recent albums we’ve created for our amazing couples.
