I’m not a huge fan of trends. I once heard a very awesome Photographer say that timeless trumps trendy and I totally agree. But there is a trend that I’ve noticed lately that I really like. When Brian and I were planning our wedding, Brian kept saying that he wanted a cool pair of shoes. Up until that point, I had only thought about the fact that I wanted really pretty shoes! I had my eyes on a pair of gorgeous Badgley Mischka shoes. I hadn’t put much thought into the shoes that Brian would wear. Now I realize that it’s important to think about choosing your grooms wedding shoes too.

Back to the trend that I like. Men’s slippers. I am addicted to this style of shoe for guys. Brian is too! I think that they are trendy but also modern. Definitely more for the modern groom who loves fashion just as much or more than his bride. Plus they make very cool wedding detail photographs and look great without socks.

If we ever do a vow renewal in the future, I can totally see Brian in a pair of men’s slippers! Check out a photo from one of our past weddings where the groom chose to wear slippers! I love it!
