After all, it will be on display for the entire evening plus who doesn’t love a delicious slice of moist cake! Get Inspired

Wedding cakes are gorgeous and there are so many designs to choose from! Wedding websites such as Style Me Pretty and Munaluchibridal  are awesome places to look for some inspiration! Pinterest is also a great place to start for a little “cakespiration”! From ruffles to dots to swirls to crystals and monograms, there are so many things you can do to create the perfect wedding cake for you!

Think Outside the Box

If a wedding cake doesn’t make your mouth water, you can always get creative and choose a different type of dessert for your wedding guest! We recently photographed a wedding where the guest indulged in delicious cheesecakes from The Cheesecake Factory in Durham! Everyone loved it and it made for a unique wedding experience!

 

Setup a consultation

Setting up a consultation with a bakery gives you a chance to discuss flavors, designs, take a look at past photos of cakes and to meet one on one with the baker/cake designer who will be creating your cake! Being the photographer and foodie that I am, I absolutely love beautiful cakes and delicious ones even more!
