Camden Room Wedding | Breannah and Fred

Photographing a wedding in Charleston, South Carolina has been on my bucket list forever! I was stoked when Breannah reached out about her Charleston wedding! I couldn’t wait to ring in the new year at their Camden Room wedding!

We drove from Raleigh to Charleston to spend the day with Breannah and Fred! The weather was perfect for a late December day! Fred and Breannah met while attending the College of Charleston. It was only right that they include their meeting place in their special day. Fred and the guys started the day at Cougar Cutz Barbershop on campus. The girls spent time getting ready at the Hilton Liberty place a few streets over.

I’m a sucker for wedding details and Breannah had lots of special details waiting for us in her bridal suite. After hair, makeup and photos, we headed over to the College of Charleston for the couple’s first look. It was so sweet watching Fred’s reaction to seeing Breannah for the first time. They exchanged private vows and Breannah shared a special first look with her Daddy!

The ceremony and reception took place at the Charleston Visitor’s Center. The ceremony space was beautifully decorated in an open air space while the reception was setup just down the breezeway. Breannah and Fred exchanged vows and rings before kissing for the first time as newlyweds. Everyone headed over to cocktail hour and the reception after the ceremony.

I got to spend sometime chatting with the couple just after the ceremony as we walked around the nearby streets for portraits. I will never turn down a little private time with our couples. The remainder of the evening was filled with dinner, cake cutting, toast and lots of dancing. Breannah and Fred ended the night on the dance floor with a fun New Year Eve countdown complete with silly string, champagne and 2025 glasses! It was the perfect way to end 2024 and welcome in 2025.
