After months of waiting, the day that Malarie and Zoe had dreamed about was finally here! The date was May 11th, 2019 and it was officially their wedding day! We met Malarie a few years ago when she was a bridesmaid in Jeanri and Rob’s wedding in downtown Raleigh! Then we got to hang out with her again as a bridesmaid at Jasmin and Jon’s wedding! This time, it was Malarie’s turn to be the bride!
Malarie and Zoe’s wedding at Noah’s Event Venue (now known as The Blue Heron Event Venue) in High Point, North Carolina was perfect in every way, even with the rain! The rain started just as Brian and I drove into the parking lot! The forecast for the day was filled with rain and thunderstorms, but we held out hope that the rain would stop! Malarie and the girls were busy getting their hair and makeup done in the bridal suite! Zoe and the guys were listening to music and getting dressed across the hall in the groom’s suite! After spending time with the ladies and guys, it was time for the ceremony!
I think everyone’s hearts melted a little when Malarie and Zoe’s little girl walked down the aisle! She ran straight to her Daddy who was waiting at the opposite end of the aisle! It was so sweet! Malarie looked amazing in her dress as she walked in with her Father! The ceremony was sweet and simple! The newlyweds jumped the broom and kissed for the first time as husband and wife!
The rain stopped just as the ceremony ended! Malarie and Zoe really wanted to take photos outdoors by the lake! Once the ceremony was over, we photographed them with their family and then headed outside for portraits! I couldn’t have asked for a better break in the weather! After portraits, the guest headed back into the ballroom for the reception!
Malarie and Zoe danced to “At Last” by Beyonce before going into a fun dance to O.T. Genasis “Push It”! It was so cute! The groom and groomsmen surprised the bride with a dance to Bruno Mars “Finesse” followed by a special dance with Malarie and her Dad and then Zoe and his Mother! The guest enjoyed dinner and dancing for the remainder of the evening!
Brian and I had so much fun celebrating with Malarie and Zoe and couldn’t be more excited for them! Congratulation again guys!
