I can’t believe that this one managed to slip through the cracks of my blogging! It has been almost 2 years since Kristel and Jordan’s wedding at The Beltline Station in Durham, but I figure it’s never too late to share their gorgeous wedding with you guys!
Kristel and Jordan’s ceremony took place in Jordan’s family church in the heart of downtown Durham, First Calvary Baptist Church! It’s also the first place where they met! I thought it was really sweet that Jordan’s Dad officiated the ceremony! Following the ceremony at the church, everyone headed over to The Beltline Station for the cocktail hour and dinner! Jordan and Kristel loved the idea of getting married on a train platform!
Everyone found their seat in the reception just before dinner was served! After dinner, everyone enjoyed the toast, cake and dancing! The couple ended the night in a getaway car! It was a magical day at The Beltline Station! We had so much fun celebrating with these two and their family and friends!
Just in case you missed their proposal story!
He proposed on the day before my birthday to avoid suspicion. We went out to Joe’s steak and stone crab in downtown Chicago for my birthday with my son and my mom. We were seated and moments later I was shocked and engaged with my mask on mind you. And then two of my close friends surprised me right after the engagement and we all got to celebrate together.
