I have a crazy obsession with behind the scene photos! As a wedding photographer, it’s so easy to photograph everyone else, but not always easy to get photos of yourself! I love whenever my assistant photographer grabs photos of me in action! And I try to grab photos of Brian working during the ceremony and reception as well! We believe that the easiest way to show the process of what we do, is to show what we do! A lot goes into planning with all of our couples as well as on the day of the wedding! Being that we are halfway through our 2018 wedding season, we want to take you behind the scenes with us!

I was literally in Whitney’s face for this portrait! I love taking closeup photos of the bride. These photos may not make it to the album, but every wedding makeup artist wants professional closeup photos of their makeup on the bride!

Here’s a photo of Brian working during Whitney and Chuck’s wedding at the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher! I thought the blue light was pretty cool!

I love photographing details on a wedding day! Some of my favorite details are the shoes, rings and stationary!

This is probably one of my favorite photos EVER! I love that our assistant caught Brian and I in the middle of the ceremony space at Cotton Room! 

I love spending 5 minutes photographing our brides right before they head to the ceremony! Tracey looked amazing! 

I always pray that my knees don’t pop too loud during the ceremony! My goal is to be as invisible as possible while still capturing the photos that I need during the ceremony!

I was photographing Tiffany and Cody as they exchanged rings during their ceremony at Studio 215 in Fayetteville, NC

I love bride and groom portraits! This is my absolute favorite part of any wedding day! Tiffany and Cody are so cute together!

Photographing Lauren’s details on one of our new styling boards was fun! I love that I was able to create a background that complimented their wedding colors! 

My very hot husband posed in the ceremony aisle so that I could test out my lighting!

I also help hold wedding gowns in between portraits!

I love giving posing instructions to our couples! My photography style is more natural and lifestyle, but I still want our couples to look their best!
