Katie and Cody are married! We love that these two chose to keep things simple! They got married at their church in Willow Springs, North Carolina! Their closest family and friends all gathered to witness as they exchanged vows! After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed dinner and dancing in the lobby of the church! It was the perfect wedding day and a great way to end our 2021 wedding season! Read on to learn how Cody proposed to Katie!

Tell us about your proposal!

Cody very secretly planned everything! Katie didn’t even know he had purchased a ring all on his own and talked to her parents. We had a beach trip planned and left right after I got off work, so we had not seen each other much that week. I could tell Cody was acting strange on the car ride to the beach, but I wasn’t sure why. We drove straight down to the beach right at sunset. As we walked out on the beach, Cody lead Katie over to an area where there weren’t any people. By this time, Katie was getting nervous and had a feeling something was about to happen! Cody said a few sweet words, pulled out the ring, and got down on one knee! It was very quick, sweet, and beautiful during sunset on the beach under the pier!
