I never knew how much fun having an almost birthday twin could be! It’s actually kind of funny that our birthdays ended up being so close! My due date with Keegan was actually January 29th! I remember hoping that he would come on his due date. After being pregnant for 9 months, no one wants to go over their due date! At least I never did! But that’s exactly what happened! My due date came and went! Then it was February! Then my birthday rolled around and I remember praying that he wouldn’t come on my birthday! I really wanted him to have his own day! Thankfully, he waited!

I ended up being induced on February 6th and he was born in the early hours of February 7th! Our birthdays are 2 days apart! I can only imagine the fun we’ll have each year as he grows up! This year, we decided to visit one of my favorite cities, Charleston! Our family has been to Charleston more times than I can count! The weekend was perfect! We visited the South Carolina Aquarium, grabbed food at Page’s Okra Grill (our favorite restaurant in Charleston) and ate Jeni’s Ice cream! I am obsessed with Jeni’s Ice Cream! It is so good and easily our favorite ice cream place ever!

I’m so thankful to see another birthday and that I get to celebrate with my little almost birthday twin! I can’t believe our little guy is the big 5 already! Time goes by entirely too fast!
