This has been a truly amazing year of weddings! Brian wrapped up our 2017 wedding season with this intimate wedding at The Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve.
The Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve is a new barn wedding venue in the Raleigh area. It is a gorgeous house surrounded by lots of open fields. The ceremony space is just beneath some trees with rows of logs for sitting! The reception space is very quaint and intimate. There are long tables with chairs and an outdoor fire pit area. Jessi and George tied the knot in a sweet outdoor ceremony before heading inside for the reception.
Jessi’s daughter sang “Make me feel your love” by Adele for their first dance song. The bride’s father welcomed all of their family and friends before everyone headed into the dining room for dinner. The bride and groom shared wedding cake for the first time as husband and wife before heading to the dance floor.
The first dance song of the night was “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang. The groom grew up in Chicago and so it was only right that Brian played “Chicago” by the Blues Brothers. It was a huge hit among George and his friends and family who were from Chicago. Brian ended up the night with “Poison” by Bell Biv Devoe.
Thank you to Jessi and George for allowing us to be a part of your special day! And a huge thanks to all of our couples for being amazing in 2017! And a huge thank you for having us at to the Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve team!
