How they met?

They met while studying at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. They were both undergraduates at the time!

How did he propose?

Aliedjawon proposed to Nicole during an evening class in the science lab.

The wedding!

The weather was perfect, but there was a chance of rain! We prayed that it would hold off for Nicole and Aliedjawon’s wedding! We started the day with them at the Hyatt Place Hotel near RTP. The groom and groomsmen were busy getting dressed when we arrived. Nicole was in the makeup chair and Vilmarie with Contour Kissed was working her magic! Soon everyone was dressed and ready to the head to the ceremony at their church in Durham, North Carolina. They each wrote their vows and it was incredibly sweet. There is just something about writing your vows that adds a very personal touch and almost always brings me to tears! After the ceremony, we headed to the Matthew’s House in Cary, North Carolina for the reception. The space had been beautiful decorated with light pink and gold decor. The Matthew’s House is a gorgeous wedding venue near the heart of downtown. The bride and groom shared a fun and sweet first dance followed by dinner, dancing and cake. They also played the adorable wedding shoe game where Brian read off questions and they each had to raise the shoe that was their answer. That’s always a fun game! The rest of the evening was spent mingling and dancing! Congrats again you guys and thanks for allowing us to be a part of your day!
