What happens when you mix history, records, and love? You get one amazingly fun engagement session! I had the pleasure of hanging out with Jeanri and Rob for their engagement session at Mordecai House and downtown Raleigh! They are such a sweet and fun couple who are planning their wedding for next summer! After chatting with Jeanri, she told me how they both loved historic places and music! So we started their engagement session at Sorry State Records in downtown Raleigh! It is the cutest little record store that I have ever seen! It has a pink wall!! And tons of records to look through! It was the perfect little spot for these two to hang out and look through records!

We spent the next little bit adventuring around the warehouse district in downtown!

These two are so cute together! Whether they were laughing together or just admiring each other, you could really see the love between the two of them!

Next we headed over to the Mordecai House near downtown Raleigh! This is a beautiful location with a true rustic feel! The Mordecai house is also a popular wedding spot in Raleigh! 

A little insight from the couple on how Rob proposed to Jeanri! 

"He scheduled a dinner at a local restaurant in our hometown. He said we were
going on a date and the restaurant was on the water. After we ordered an appetizer
he wanted to go outside to look at the water on the dock since it was raining that
day. We were casually talking and all of a sudden I saw my family my best friend
from Maryland and my 2 bridesmaids and his family walking up from a distance and
then he confessed his love and got on one knee."

Omg! How sweet is that!
