It’s always nice meeting our couples after chatting with them for months. We recently got to meet Alex and Rashard for their engagement session at Duke Gardens. Alex knew that she wanted to take her portraits at Duke Gardens and I’m so glad that she chose this location. The flowers and greenery is stunning. Especially during the spring months when the tulips are in full bloom.

I truly enjoyed watching these two interact in front of the camera. We can’t wait until their special day this summer!

We grew up in the same area and attended the same church, however we did not really interact with one another. We had a couple of interactions in college, but everything started with one random text message saying hey and wanting to hang out. That chance text message led us to the relationship we have today.
