Our weekend at a glance consisted of a little shopping, some much needed sleep and a lot of Walking Dead! Brian and I had our first date night since jumping the broom last month! Between the kids and work, we have to really plan our date nights! We decided to catch the new “No Good Deeds” movie on Friday night! It was a pretty good movie! I feel like the previews basically showed the entire movie! It was predictable, but good! After the movie, we headed downtown to Bittersweet! I had been dying to check out this place since we first heard about it! It was pretty packed, so we just grabbed dessert and headed out! I tried the chocolate pecan pie and it was yummy! It reminded me of this chocolate nut pie that my Mom use to make when I was growing up! I really need to find that recipe!

Our Saturday consisted of a little shopping and getting ready for church Sunday! It’s officially football season and so we grabbed lunch at Chili’s while Brian watched the Redskin’s game! I’m not a huge football fan, but I do enjoy watching the games sometime! Especially when the Redskin’s win! 🙂

The rest of our day was spent relaxing and catching on Season 4 of The Walking Dead! I love that show and I think I’ve finally rubbed off on Brian! We hope that you had a wonderful weekend too! We’d love to hear that you did this past weekend!
