Today is our first time ever visiting the Barclay Villa in Angier, North Carolina! From everything we have seen online, it looks like a gorgeous wedding venue! We actually have a funny story about Barclay! A couple of years ago when we first started planning our wedding day, I came across the Barclay Villa website and fell in love! It was beautiful, stunning and had that “wow” factor that I was looking for in a venue! I showed it to Brian and he liked it too! We setup a day to go visit the venue, but it ended up snowing around the time we were suppose to visit! We never got around to rescheduling as we realized that most of our family probably wouldn’t want to drive that far outside of Raleigh for the wedding!

We found a closer venue in Raleigh, but Barclay Villa remained the venue “that got away”! 🙂 Maybe for our vow renewal in 10 years! But today, Brian will be the DJ for Tiara and Jeremiah’s wedding inside the Barclay Villa ballroom! We’re super excited to meet these two lovebirds and their families!

And just because we all dislike a post without a photo, check out Brian chatting it up with the groom before one of our recent weddings at the Billingsley House in Maryland! After setting up his equipment and before changing into a dressier shirt, Brian found the groom to chat a little!
