I first met Shree and Jeremy last year for their engagement session in downtown Durham! We spent an entire evening chatting and taking photos together! After months of planning and preparing, their big day was finally here!
I’ve heard that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck. If that’s the case, these guys were blessed with lots of luck on their big day! The forecast had 100% chance of rain and it poured down the entire day! Shree and Jeremy didn’t let that put a damper on their special day at Cross+Main in Youngsville, NC! Shree laughed and cried with her girls while getting ready for the ceremony! Jeremy cried as he saw Shree for the first time in her wedding dress! They exchanged vows and kissed for the first time as husband and wife!
After a brief exit, Brian announced them into the reception where they danced for the first time! I love that they did a fun mash up of slow and fast songs! It was so much fun to witness and their guest loved it! They immediately cut the cake and all of their guest received cupcakes on their way out! It was the perfect day despite all of the Covid-19 and rain changes!
Congratulation again guys!
Tell us about your proposal!
Jeremy and I took a week long trip to the DR last May 2019, it was amazing and such a beautiful place to visit! We spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the resort. We even had a nice massage that we won, which was awesome. On Thursday May 16, 2019 we got up, had breakfast and mimosa’s, hung out at the pool & beach. We went back to our room and Jeremy was tired so he decided to take a nap, while he napped I walked around the resort and had a cocktail at the bar. This was our first time being apart the entire trip. Around 8 something Jeremy called to see where I was so he could meet up with me. Once we met up he said “let’s go take some pictures over at the gazebo” I did not think nothing of if, but I should have because Jeremy hates pictures lol. So he was taking some pictures of me and I took some of him. We were then finished taking pictures so we could head to dinner. I turned away from Jeremy to grab my purse and when I turned back around Jeremy was on one knee proposing to me. It was the sweetest thing ever! I of course said YES, and cried for like 5-10 mins. I felt a feeling in my heart that I never felt before. His proposal was perfect, just him and I under this beautiful dim lit gazebo with no cameras and no audience, I was totally surprised and caught of guard. I remember it like it was yesterday! I would say YES a million times!
What are you most excited about on your wedding day?
I am most excited about the union of Jeremy and I becoming one! I cannot wait to see him standing at the alter ready to take me as his wife!
