Happy July!

I’m not sure how it happened, but I almost missed the 1st of July! As I was scrolling through my timeline on Facebook and Instagram, I noticed everyone saying “hello” to July! My first thought was “wow, everyone is a day early!” I kept thinking about how everyone must be really excited to see July this year! Then I glanced over at my dry erase calendar on the wall and realized that it is officially July 1st! Now that we’re all on 1 page, Happy July guys! Where has the time gone?

Since we’re halfway through the year, I thought that today would be the perfect time to update you guys on that birthday bucket list that I made a few months ago! You might remember that I created an updated birthday bucket list based on the one from last year! I believe that it’s important to set goals. I managed to check off some things from my 2018 bucket list last year, but there were still several things that I didn’t get around to! I recently got to check off a few more things from my list!

1. Spend a day at the spa

Brian and I got our first massages together during our time in Aruba! Listening to the water hitting the rocks and the wind blowing was so relaxing! We definitely need to plan more spa days in the future!

2. Travel outside of the United States

No one believes us when we say that Aruba was our first trip out of the US! I’ve dreamed of visiting another country for years and finally decided to make it happen this year! I’m so glad that we did it! We had an amazing time and are already thinking about our next visit to what everyone calls “One Happy Island!”

Vacation in Aruba

3. Volunteer for a good cause

4. Plan a trip for our 5 year anniversary

This one was pretty easy being that I love planning trips! Aruba was sort of an early anniversary trip!

6. Dance in the rain

7. Go snorkeling

I put this on my list but never imagined that I’d actually do it! Snorkeling was so much fun and it was incredible looking under the water and seeing all of the fish! I seriously felt like I was looking into an aquarium the first time I looked under the water! I actually have a rather funny/embarrassing story about my snorkel adventure, but I’ll share that with you guys later on!

8. Read a new book

9. Go skydiving (I’m feeling adventurous)

10. Throw a party

I can’t wait to check off the rest of the items on my list! I’ll be sure to update you guys throughout the remainder of 2019!
