We’re clocking out! Our out of office email is on! We’ve turned off all of our email notifications for the next week! The kids are hanging with family! Brian and I are looking forward to no alarm clocks (except maybe a couple for fun stuff), lots of sand and a few grown-up drinks for the next 8 days! It’s been forever since Brian and I have taken time off to just relax and have fun! Although, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t going to miss our babies! We’re calling this our early anniversary late honeymoon birthday vacation! Here’s why!

We never took a honeymoon after our wedding! Our plan was to take a honeymoon a few months after our wedding! But months turned into years and before you know it, we never did! Before long, a honeymoon was no longer our priority! Instead, it was saving to buy a house, then a new baby! Our dreams of a honeymoon turned into more of dreams of a relaxing vacation!

This August marks our 5 year anniversary! It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 5 years since Brian and I got married! The past 5 years have been amazing and we’re looking forward to celebrating it a little early with this upcoming vacation!

Brian’s birthday was 10 days ago, so we’re calling this his late birthday celebration too!

So basically this trip is a mixture of things for us! But I’m hoping that it ends up being a mixture of fun and relaxation!
