It feels like we’ve waited forever for this day to arrive! I can only imagine how it felt for Jymmi and Aaron as they awaited the day that they would get to make things official! We met Jymmi and Aaron through one of our past couples almost a year ago! Earlier this year, we met for their engagement session at the NC Museum of Art! A couple of months ago, I met with Jymmi for her bridal session at the Leslie Alford Mims House in Holly Springs, NC! It’s been so much fun getting to know these guys over the last year!
Jymmi and her girls were busy getting their makeup done when we arrived on their wedding day! The guys were down the hall getting dressed! I love that 1705 East has added a bridal and groom’s suite. Having the option of getting dressed at the same location as your ceremony and reception is amazing! Before long, it was time for the ceremony to begin! Jymmi walked down the aisle with her Father as Aaron saw his soon to be wife for the first time! This is always one of my favorite moments! Jymmi and Aaron read their handwritten vows to each other before kissing for the first time as husband and wife! Next, all of the guests headed over to cocktail hour while we headed outside for portraits!
The couple shared a fun entrance into the reception followed by dinner and lots of dancing with their friends and family! The day seemed to end way too fast! Jymmi and Aaron exited through a line of sparklers before hopping into the getaway car! Brian and I had so much fun with these guys! Read on to learn how Jymmi and Aaron met!
How Did You Meet?
Aaron and I met online. Jymmi’s friend Bobbie, who will be the maid of honor, went to the same CrossFit gym as Aaron. I told her to keep an eye on Aaron to make sure he wasn’t crazy. After talking for about a week, Aaron and I planned to meet for brunch. We connected very well over brunch during our first date. Surprisingly, we ended up running into each other the next day at Harris Teeter. After that, we continued to stay in touch and it evolved into something special.
