The Cottage at The Crystal Coast Wedding

The last few months have been a rollercoaster for everyone! Aislinn and Joey were originally planning to tie the knot during the spring, but decided to postpone their wedding until July 4th due to Covid-19! I think it’s safe to say that it was totally worth the wait! Aislinn and Joey’s wedding at the Celebration Cottage in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina was a dream! These two have been dating for 9 years and couldn’t wait to get married! The weather was gorgeous! Their closest family and friends got to witness their union. And there were lots of 4th of July fireworks to go around!

This was our first time visiting the Celebration Cottage (now known as The Cottage on Crystal Coast) on the beach and I am in love! It’s the perfect space for a small, intimate wedding! I love that you see the ocean and sand without being directly in the sand! These two chose the most dreamy location for their wedding. There was even a brief rain shower for good luck while everyone was getting dressed!

Joey watched as Aislinn walked down the aisle with her father during the ceremony. Their fur babies, Lola and Mya, were there to witness it all too! There were lots of tears and laughter throughout the evening! I don’t think that there was a dry eye in the room as Aislinn’s father sang her a song! So sweet! Aislinn and Joey’s wedding reception was lots of fun! Everyone enjoyed dinner, cake, dancing and there was even a surprise appearance by Charlie Sheen! These two ended the night with sparklers outside of the cottage!

It felt so good to be back at a wedding in the midst of the craziness of 2020!

Tell us about your proposal!

He proposed on our annual snowboard trip in Snoeshow, WV. We went to the village to take our yearly group picture and he pretended to slip on top of an ice mound and when I turned around to help him up he proposed.
