It’s been awhile since Brian and I took a road trip together! When Beyonce and Jay-Z announced that they were coming to Fedex Field, we were both excited! You already know that Brian is a huge Redskins fan and loves going to Fedex Field!! I’m a very loyal member of the Beyhive and couldn’t wait to see Beyonce again! We saw Beyonce a couple of years ago in Raleigh, but her and Jay-Z together was hard to pass on!

After a few hours of driving, we arrived at our hotel! This was our 4th or 5th time staying at the Hilton Tysons Corner! We have lots of memories at this hotel. We stayed here during Addie’s first football game trip years ago. All of the kids have been here with us! It’s just sort of been our go to hotel in the past and the front desk staff is always really friendly! We even thought about having our wedding here 4 years ago! The atrium is beyond gorgeous!

After a few hours, it was time to grab food and head to Fedex Field for the On The Run II Tour! Excited wasn’t even the word! We even ran into one of our past brides, Alecia, in the concession stands! It’s always good catching up with our Story and Rhythm brides! The concert was so much fun! The energy and excitement of everyone at a Beyonce concert is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before! We were both exhausted after the concert!

Sunday was more laidback and chill! We met a cool saxophone player while in Washington, DC and grabbed ice cream at Jeni’s Ice Creams! I was hooked after my visit in Charleston, SC and couldn’t wait to visit with Brian! We both love ice cream! The peanut butter ice cream with chocolate is so good on top of a waffle cone! After our ice cream date, we grabbed seafood at Chasin’ Tails! One of our couples suggested it to us and it was really good!
