Weekends are always fun to me! It’s very rare that we have a weekend off during the summer months, but we had just that this past weekend! Here’s a recap of our weekend plus some photos of the kids at the new Raleigh Union Station!
Friday
Brian and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on Friday! We had plans to visit a nice restaurant, but ended up grabbing dinner at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar and relaxing!
Saturday
Most of our Saturday was spent between school shopping and grocery shopping with the kids! I can’t believe that the kids are about to head back to school next week! The summer has gone by so fast! I’m definitely not ready for super early mornings and car pool lines again! After visiting the mall and a few stores, we stopped in downtown Raleigh! I love taking photos in downtown Raleigh. There are so many little nooks and cool places for outdoor photos! This was our first time visiting the new Raleigh Union Station. And I was pleasantly surprised to find the old warehouse doors from my old favorite spot across the street had been moved! If you remember this session or this session, you know that I love these big silver doors!
Sunday
We spent Sunday morning being completely lazy! We cooked breakfast, watched a movie and hung out with the kids! I spent the evening with one of our 2018 brides at the Leslie-Alford-Mims House in Holly Springs. This has quickly become one of my favorite locations for bridal portraits! And Jymmi looked stunning! I can’t wait to share her bridal photos with the world in a few months!
Check out a few photos from the weekend!
