Chapel Hill may just be my new favorite town in North Carolina! You’ve more than likely heard that we’re huge Tar Heel fans and I love the campus at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill! A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous wedding in Chapel Hill! Chelsea and Clay’s wedding to be exact! They are the sweetest pair and their Forest Theatre wedding in Chapel Hill, North Carolina was beyond amazing!! My second photographer and I met with the groom and groomsmen at their home for all of the getting ready photos! Clay’s Mom made all of the bowties for the guys! His even had his initials sewn on! Such a sweet touch! The groom wore a navy suit from Belk’s and sleek brown Cole Haan’s!
Next we headed over to the Franklin Hotel to meet with Chelsea and her bridesmaids! The makeup artist, Aline, was busy finishing up one of the bridesmaids while Chelsea hung out with her friends! After photographing the ladies and the details, it was time for Chelsea to get dressed!
Chelsea wore a beautiful wedding gown by Watters Wtoo and adorable blue pumps by Nina! Absolutely stunning!
Before the ceremony, Clay and Chelsea shared a sweet first look together! Just the two of them! So romantic!
The ceremony location at the Forest Theatre had been beautifully decorated with white folding chairs and baby’s breath! The bridesmaids all carried bouquets of hydrangeas! Chelsea and Clay’s dog, Chloe even walked as their flower girl!
New Hope Players played a beautiful selection of music during the ceremony!
They had the cutest little bus as a way of getting around Chapel Hill! 
The reception took place at the Horace Williams House off Franklin Street! The space was decorated with shades of Carolina blue and navy!
Joe Mitchell aka Guitarist Kooky sounded great during cocktail hour! 
Chelsea and Clay’s wedding day was absolutely fabulous!!! Cheers to you guys!!!
